Quick Quotes
Q. A couple of 65s. How enjoyable has it been to play a golf course in pristine condition obviously playing the way you are?
NIKLAS NORGAARD: It's been really, really good. I think it's by far the best condition I've ever played a golf course in. Enjoyable with the weather. Don't really know. Prefer the Danish weather for sure. I'll take 15 degrees any day. But I'm very happy to shoot those scores.
Q. How in control of your game do you feel right now?
NIKLAS NORGAARD: Quiet controlled, I would say. I've been home for two weeks now before I got here, and just working very, very good and gained a lot of confidence from working well instead of results, and that's the really good confidence. And then just trying to take it to the course and yeah, been good so far.
Q. You must take a lot of confidence from the results this year. Obviously a big win for you in September. What were your own personal expectations heading into these big two final events of the season?
NIKLAS NORGAARD: My main goal for these two to lock up that top 10 and get that. I just want to come down here and play some proper golf.
Q. Knowing that is at the forefront of your mind, do you almost put that to the back of your mind and focus on one shot at a time through these next 36 holes?
NIKLAS NORGAARD: Yeah, that's the challenge in golf. It matters so much but trying to make it not matter, it's really difficult. Like I said, home for two weeks really helped. And just trying to do what I do best, and just being in every shot instead of thinking about ranking and results and everything.
So just been one shot at a time, and I've done that well these two days.
