Q. All right, here with Haeran after her first round at the Maybank Championship. 8-under to start the week. Just talk about how it went out there.

HAERAN RYU: I don't remember my play today because today my body feels not good, so I just want a good finish. Yeah, 8-under is pretty good. Today my putter is good, better than last week.

Yeah, I make a lot of birdie. I'm so happy.

Q. This is a long stretch of golf. How do you stay patient and rest during this long stretch?

HAERAN RYU: Yeah, it's golf so hard and so stressful for me. But, yeah, it's not -- today is not good, but -- no today is really good but tomorrow is a little different today.

I just more comfortable my shot and putt. Yeah, that's my mindset. That's it.

Q. We're in this fall Asia Swing of golf. How much do you enjoy playing over here?

HAERAN RYU: Yeah, I really like it because I'm Asian golfer and last week was my hometown and a lot of Koreans there and many crowds there, right? So, yeah, so liked it. I want to enjoy in Asia Swing.

Q. You've had a lot of great rounds, but especially this one towards the end of the season, how nice is it to see an 8-under round?

HAERAN RYU: Yeah, I just thank for God and I want to thank for my coaches. But I have four more tournaments and three more rounds, and, yeah, I want to more comfortable my golf.
