Q. What's the mood like today knowing the task at hand in front of you guys?

LANE THOMAS: You know, I think everybody wants to go out and win a game. I think the last two games have been pretty crazy. I think it's been really fun, but obviously we weren't on the right side of it last night, and hope to be on it tonight.

Q. A bunch of guys including your manager have talked about resilience and that's who we are. It's been a theme all season.

When you came in and you joined the team and started to get the feel for everything, when did you realize that was a personality of the team?

LANE THOMAS: Probably it goes back to when I played against them. I feel like you just noticed how well they handled certain situations, and obviously I noticed how well the bullpen was. I don't know if I hit very well that series.

I kind of knew coming in. I remember seeing Vogter when we were leaving that day when I was on the opposing team and just being like, man, it's fun to watch you guys play kind of thing. I kind of had known even before I got here, and it was just cool to be a part of it once I did get here.

Q. When a team is like that, this specific team, do you think it's more player led, that identity, or is the manager a big part of it? How would you size up the ingredients to make that happen?

LANE THOMAS: You know, I don't have an answer for that. I think it takes a full clubhouse of both staff and players and people that understand the main goal. I feel like they do a really good job of that here.

Q. Obviously that first elimination game that you've played in here in the postseason, do you take anything from the way that you felt or you prepared for those first couple games? Does that help you be your best version of yourself tonight?

LANE THOMAS: Yeah, I mean, I think it helps that this is the second series, so we kind of know what it took the first series. Obviously different club, different pitchers and stuff, but we definitely prepare the same. I think everybody is going into it expecting to win.
