Quick Quotes
Q. Here with Celine Boutier here at the BMW Ladies Championship. Eagle, bogey-free, what were some of the highlights out there?
CELINE BOUTIER: Yeah, I felt like a played really solid, especially my front nine. I gave myself a lot of chances. Started off with a birdie on 1 and eagle on 8, and that's always good. Just kept up on the back. A little bit more boring, but yeah, it was a solid round overall, and happy with my first round.
Q. What do you make of this course, and how does it bring out some of your strengths?
CELINE BOUTIER: It's a good course. You definitely have to be accurate off the tee, and you have to be also accurate with your approach shots because the greens are very slopey and quite big. So you have to be kind of smart about that. Thankfully today it wasn't too windy, but I feel like when the wind picks up, it also trickles from the tree and it's not really easy to see the direction.
Today it wasn't too bad, but it's definitely a good course, and you have to play good. If you play smart, you have a lot of chances. I think it's a good test.
Q. Your win a couple weeks ago, top 10 last week, and off to a great start this week. What is working so well in your game right now?
CELINE BOUTIER: I think everything is kind of solid. I feel like when I miss some shots, I'm able to recover, and then when I'm hitting good, I'm able also to convert into birdies. It's quite nice and hopefully I can keep up for the next few days.
Q. What will you take from this round heading into the rest of the week?
CELINE BOUTIER: I think there's still some room for improvement. I definitely feel confident with my game and where it's headed. But I definitely feel like it's a long week ahead and a few rounds to go. So definitely have to keep up. I feel like it's a course that's pretty scorable. So you know, definitely just getting started.
