Q. Brilliant way to finish Le Golf National, 64.

BRANDON STONE: Yeah, we got spoiled for the weather today. There weren't a breath of wind out there for the majority of that but every time we get to come to Le Golf National, it's always special, and I'm just a very happy man to have played nicely today. And I get to go have a few beers with the boys now.

Q. Eight back at the start of the day, what was the attitude at the start of the day? Did you think you had a chance?

BRANDON STONE: Well, Casey and I had a private, so that's all the motivation that we need. The difference between professional golf and golf that really matters is when it coming out of your wallet, you need to focus a little bit better. We put a wager on today's round, and that got me fired up quite early and seems to be seems to be paying quite good fruition.

Q. Over the last four holes, playing them today, how tough are they playing? I don't think the leaders have got it easy, have they?

BRANDON STONE: I'm staying on site, so I will have first access to come back if that is the case.

But yes, this golf course is so good. Let's just call it what it is. It's an incredible test of your ball-striking and mental capacity to just hold it together.

And we've been really blessed. I mean, the grounds staff, the work they did on Wednesday evening, we had no right playing golf Thursday morning on schedule like we did. They did an incredible job. The amount rain that came down, it's a true testament to their hard work.

Whenever you've got the team behind the scenes working that hard, you feel like you need to put together a good product and something entertaining, and I'm glad I contributed to that this week.
