Q. Back-to-back 65s here at Le Golf National but talk us through your round today.

SAM BAIRSTOW: Just solid. Front nine was very smooth and I just holed a few putts on the back nine. Hopefully keep it going and hopefully another one.

Q. Jesper Svensson is extremely long off the tee. Do you think that's an advantage around here?

SAM BAIRSTOW: Yeah, I think this week with it being soft, I think if you can carry it a bit further, it probably helps into the greens and stuff. I think anywhere it helps if you hit it straight.

Q. You had a tough first putt on 18. Looked like you were thinking about chipping?

SAM BAIRSTOW: Well, I was never chipping. I was just going to try and lay up left and hole a 12-footer. Just looked like I did.

Q. The weather looks a lot better tomorrow than it does today. What's the plan?

SAM BAIRSTOW: Yeah, I think much of the same. Just stuck to my game plan all week and hole a few putts, and if that happens tomorrow, see where I end up.
