Q. Seven birdies on your card today, must have felt like a completely different day with the sun shining down on you.

RASMUS HØJGAARD: It was good. Got off to a good start again today. It's nice to make a few birdies. Ran into a few problems on the back nine but I managed to birdie the last. Overall, I'm really happy with yesterday and today.

Q. Last time I spoke to you, I noticed that you were hitting the ball even further than normal, I don't know how did you that but you said you were too busy concentrating on making sure you found the fairway. Looks like you're doing that.

RASMUS HØJGAARD: Today I hit more fairways for sure. Yesterday on the back nine, I was struggling. I think I may be hit the 10th fairway but otherwise I was in the rough all day.

So yeah, today I made it a bit easier for myself, and you need to be in the fairway out here to control the ball. It was nice to see the ball fly a bit straight.

Q. You must be incredibly content with where your game is now, especially compared to 12 months ago, chasing and trying to get into the top 10 after the injury.

RASMUS HØJGAARD: Yeah, last year at this time it was quite stressful. Trying to take it a bit more easy now. It's all a long process. The end goal is trying to contend in bigger events. At the moment I'm trying to enjoy my time as much as possible. Obviously happy that the game is showing good signs as well.

Q. We were talking to Nicolai about how this place must be special. First time we met you was when you were playing the Junior Ryder Cup in 2018, and you had your eyes open to the spectacle of golf on a grand scale. What's it like for you coming back here?

RASMUS HØJGAARD: I always enjoy playing here. I've played well here before, and it's a course I really like. So you know, it seems like there's always those, few events a year where you just love being there, and this is one of mine.
