Quick Quotes
Q. A lot has happened since Denmark. Obviously you went into that event in great form, and you picked up the win. How much of a game-changer has that been for you?
FREDERIC LACROIX: It's huge because, well, until this year, I never hold my card on the main tour. Now I know where I'm going to play the next two years. I have that security, which is great. It's kind of life-changing, yeah.
Q. And you say you know where you're going to play the next two years. We still don't know that because you're in a really good spot on The Race to Dubai.
FREDERIC LACROIX: I have a guarantee on the DP World Tour, which is nice.
Q. And you have the possibility of playing on the PGA TOUR. I think you're 18 on The Race to Dubai and in a great spot going into a critical point in the season. How much momentum do you think you can take from that win in Denmark?
FREDERIC LACROIX: Well, it's tough to say because now you get into the final events, which are tougher fields, tougher courses. I would have signed for that position at the beginning of the year, that's for sure.
But I'm just going to try to do my best. See where that puts me after Dubai, and we'll take it from there.
Q. And speaking of tough courses, we've got the Albatross Course here at Le Golf National. How much have you been looking forward to coming back here?
FREDERIC LACROIX: It's a great course when the weather's good. It's so hard when it's wet, when the ball doesn't fly. I play here quite a bit, especially when we have time in the winter. It's not fun when the ball doesn't fly. When it's cold outside, it's really not fun.
It's going to be a good test of golf. I hope the rain is going to stop at some point, but it's going to be hard.
Q. Have you got many people coming to watch?
FREDERIC LACROIX: I have a few. I have some friends around. My family is going to drive up. It's going to be nice.
Q. I noted that on tour, there's been a winner from France every year since 2011, and you guys are continuing that trend. How nice is it to have guys to look up to and having a strong group of French players at the moment?
FREDERIC LACROIX: French golf is in pretty good position. There's a lot of players on tour, and there's a lot of players on The Challenge Tour looking to actually graduate.
Even though we don't have as many wins as other nations, we are in a good place. It's growing. It's nice to see and it's nice to be part of it.
Q. Do you think you're underrated, French golfers?
FREDERIC LACROIX: Well, from a British perspective, for sure.
Q. From an outside perspective.
FREDERIC LACROIX: I think we are even underrated in France sometimes. People don't realise how hard it is. It's hard to win. It's hard to play on first division.
Yeah, but it's part of the game, and if you want to see French people, French people want to see French people win; if we can give them that, it would be nice.
Q. Playing in front of French people, you hopefully get great crowds here. How much of a difference will that make?
FREDERIC LACROIX: Hopefully, yeah. Depends how nice they are. They can being quite critical -- no.
It's always nice to play at home. I live 20 minutes from here. I stay at home. Going to have some friends come over and watch. I'll take every support I can get.
