THE MODERATOR: Sara, Jasmine, congratulations on your first China Open title. If you could just give us your thoughts on the match today and your performance.

JASMINE PAOLINI: Yeah, today I think we play a good match. Never easy to play a final. Many killer points we lost. Actually, we managed to win in two sets, so we are really, really happy about the win today.

THE MODERATOR: Questions, please.

Q. Throughout the second set, you broke your opponents every single game, but you only held your serve once. Did you adapt your game plan to adjust to this? What impact did it have on the match?

JASMINE PAOLINI: I couldn't hold my serve (smiling). It's like three days that the first game of the second set I'm serving, and we got break, so...

She told me, C'mon, let's go. This one, we're going to do it. But we didn't (smiling).

No, we were I think like returning better in the second set. We knew maybe better where they're going to go. I think we did a great job. We try to stay there every point because, as I said, we got break many times.

Yeah, we try to stay positive and to return better.

Q. Obviously two 1000s, Olympic gold, Grand Slam final, quite the season for both of you in the doubles. Sara and Jasmine, what does winning this title mean?

SARA ERRANI: Yeah, like you say, is an incredible year. We won a lot. Of course, is a really important tournament. It's amazing for us to win this tournament.

We hope to continue (smiling).

JASMINE PAOLINI: Yeah, it's always special to win a tournament, especially 1000. We are really, really happy. We put so much effort this year to play doubles. So we are just happy. It's nice to win a tournament.
