Quick Quotes
Q. Not the victory you're hoping for but I imagine you're extremely proud of what you've achieved here after what you've been here with the last couple of years with illness and losing your license to play on tour. How proud of that performance?
NICOLAS COLSAERTS: Yeah, pretty proud. Listen, I played well in this event before, but to be able to putt a couple good rounds together, get all the way to the end, you know, in a position that I haven't really been in the last couple of years is quite good, of course.
Yeah, when you finish like that it's a bit bittersweet. But if you look at what happened during the course, the way it all panned out, it was probably 8, 9, 10, 11. People might look at the last but I could have maybe done a little bit better throughout the middle of the round.
Q. How were the emotions, the way you remembered them, awhile since you've been in that situation.
NICOLAS COLSAERTS: When you have not been in a position like this for a while, yeah, you kind of forget how much it grabs you. Yeah, you become a bit anxious but at the same time, you focus and get really, really tuned in. I was able to hit a amazing shots down the last couple holes.
Q. A complicated situation with you getting your card back. I think you have to join as an affiliate member and so on and so forth but looks like you've secured enough money that you be able to play back on tour next year. What does that mean to you?
NICOLAS COLSAERTS: It means a lot. I have to give credit for the Tour and all the promoters that I've known over the years for giving me 15 opportunities or 16 opportunities this year to actually try to get a job back.
But listen, I feel part of the furniture. This has been my life for over 20 years now. I don't know, it looks like we're going to go back on the merry-go-round.
