Q. Are many, many congratulations on the terrific victory in the team event. 14 years on from your first victory and you've done it again, 48 under par, just how special is this moment?

DERMOT DESMOND: It's fantastic. I really enjoy playing with Thorbjørn and they are wonderful golf courses, great sponsor, and with my sons here, what can be better.

Q. How impressed with this fella's play? You started the day three shots behind and shot 59 on the final day in difficult conditions. How well did he play?

THORBJØRN OLESEN: Not just today, I think. The first three days was amazing. Dermot was very consistent. Played great all week, and you know, when he wasn't playing, I stepped in a few times.

But yeah, we had a great time, all four days, and this is a very special tournament, it's special for me, and yeah, it's been a lot of fun.

Q. Things were very tight down the stretch. I think your 2-putt at 17 is the best I've ever seen from about 50 yards. Talk me through how you were feeling at that time.

DERMOT DESMOND: I was feeling very nervous. I wanted to get the ball on the green. If it got close to the hole, wasn't even close enough for me; I wanted it to be about three inches away. I was very fortunate.

Q. You have bragging rights now over your three sons also playing here and for 12 months you can lord it over them. How much fun will that be?

DERMOT DESMOND: They are much better golfers than I am. At my age now, I'm a realist. I know what I can do, and I know what I can't do. There's a lot of things I can't do that they can do.
