Country Club of Jackson

Quick Quotes

Q. Lucas, anxiously waiting for kickoff at the Tigers, Florida State. Going to make it quick. 68 today. What were your strengths today, maybe this entire week here?

LUCAS GLOVER: I drove it nice today. Probably better than I did the first two days. Struggled reading the greens today. Didn't birdie the par-5.

So go home tonight feeling like I left a few out there. But, you know, 16-under par around here, pretty pleased. Just got to play the par-5s better and I know that.

Just hit the ball nice; just didn't read the putts very well.

Q. Looking to tomorrow, the top eight on the leaderboard, which includes you, you have six wins on the PGA TOUR, two coming last year. The rest of that top eight has just one, and that's Keith Mitchell. He's won one time. Does having the experience of winning on TOUR that you have give you an advantage?

LUCAS GLOVER: I don't think so anymore. 20 years ago maybe. Everybody out here is so good and so seasoned to win. Just it's in the DNA now. All the young guys coming up, it's like the program different than 20 years ago, say.

But coming down the stretch tomorrow nerves are nerves, and knowing how to handle it is different. The depth out here is so deep, the depth of talent I should say, that there will be a lot of the guys probably aren't worried about nerves.
