Q. I was watching the whole match, and I actually came through here the first time, it didn't look so good.

BRENDA CORRIE KUEHN: It did not look very good at all, no.

Q. What changed for you on the back nine? Did you just keep plugging away?

BRENDA CORRIE KUEHN: I've got to tell you, I just kept plugging away. I struggled. I struggled ball striking today.

The rain did not help. I don't play in the rain anymore. When it's raining outside, I just don't go out and play.

So I was struggling with my swing and the ball striking, but I just tried to stay patient. I was putting well, and then I had a couple birdie looks made the difference. I made a couple putts and got back in the game.

I had a really good look on 18. I hit the putt just where I wanted it. It didn't break the last six inches.

Q. Going deep into these brackets, you start seeing some familiar faces.

BRENDA CORRIE KUEHN: Oh, yes.

Q. Did you adjust your game at all to that?

BRENDA CORRIE KUEHN: No, you play the course. I'm a true believer that in match play you -- Carol Semple Thompson, who's one of the best ever, best match play players, says you just play the course.

Obviously, if you just had a two-putt from 10 feet or something, you're not going to ram it by, but play the course.

Q. You had Sarah as your caddie for the round?

BRENDA CORRIE KUEHN: She was amazing. She was great. Such a trooper to come out here in the rain. She was great.

Q. And you two have some history, last year's match?

BRENDA CORRIE KUEHN: Yes, yes. Hopefully, we'll catch each other again next year.
