TPC River’s Bend
Quick Quotes
Q. Here with Yealimi Noh after her second round here at the Kroger Queen City Championship presented by P&G. 9-under overall. Very happy with that I'm sure. Take me through the day today.
YEALIMI NOH: Yeah, I hit it really well. I was hitting my tee balls nice and straight in the fairways.
Hit a lot of greens and took advantage of the par-5s a little bit more than yesterday. Just had a really solid day.
Q. What are you making of TPC River's Bend? What do you like about the course?
YEALIMI NOH: Yeah, it's great. It's really firming up, especially over the past few days. The greens are nice and fast and the course is great. There is a lot of holes that are a bit similar to each other, like front nine and back nine.
If you just stay in the fair ways, you can set yourself up for some good opportunities.
Q. I know I've spoken with you a couple times in the past few weeks. What is maybe feeling good about your game right now?
YEALIMI NOH: Definitely putting it a lot better, just making birdies and less bogeys. I've been working on some swing changes, swing things over the last few weeks, so that's been paying off. Hitting it a lot better.
Q. As you're near the top of the leaderboard heading into moving day, what are some goals for Saturday?
YEALIMI NOH: Just keeping the same tempo and rhythm throughout the round like I have been the last two days. Just keeping it simple and hitting fairways and greens and hopefully making a lot of the putts.
Q. As we get into Saturday, what do you expect to see from the course, maybe change about the course? Will it get longer? Firmer?
YEALIMI NOH: I think it's going to get firmer. We have a few hot days ahead of us, including today, so I think we'll see it firm up a bit.
The course was playing long, but a few tees were bumped up, so that was nice. And the ball going another further, I've been having a lot of the wedges into the holes.
Q. Does that suit you do you think?
YEALIMI NOH: Yeah, for sure. It's always nice when you have short irons in and reachable par-5s is always helpful.
