Q. Very well played, girls. Anna, how big does that point feel in the overall context of the Cup?

ANNA NORDQVIST: Yeah, I think that was the mentality coming in. I never played with Celine before and I absolutely loved it. Yeah, I felt like I really needed a point, and it's nice to see some blue on the board. We've just got to keep doing our best. But I had a really fun morning with Celine.

Q. It looked like you were having lots of fun. Describe the intensity between you two, the level of energy to come out here and really make a statement this morning.

CELINE BOUTIER: Yeah, I think we were just very focused. We knew what we had to do. We knew it was going to be a solid pair we were paired up against, so we needed to make some birdies. Our games was really steady from start to finish, so I feel like we played really solid and didn't really leave many opportunities for them out there.

Q. Anna, well documented this is your ninth Solheim Cup. We know what it means to you, but honestly, what emotions does this competition stir inside you that enables you to produce the performances you have over the last couple of days and really raise the level of your game?

ANNA NORDQVIST: Yeah, I mean, I love this tournament more than anything. I know it's my ninth one, and I'm probably closer to the end than to the beginning. I'm trying to just embrace every moment. This tournament means a lot to me, my family, all my nieces and nephews at home. They sent me video in the banana suits this morning just cheering me on. Unfortunately couldn't be here because of school, but we have a few supporters. They recruited a few more bananas today.

But I just love the atmosphere and being part of a team, and I'm really proud of my team this week.
