Q. Here with Lilia Vu and Sarah Schmelzel after their victory on the 16th green. First of all, got to ask you about that tee shot here on the par-3. Was it a 9-iron?

SARAH SCHMELZEL: Yeah, it was a little 9-iron. We were trying to hit it like 133. Just glad I actually did it.

Q. Perfect time to do it. Seemed like you gelled well. What was the strategy going into the match?

LILIA VU: I think we get on great. We're just going to do our things. We trust each other's games. I trust Sarah. She hits it straight and is always reliable. We have a good time together.

Q. How did this exceed your expectations playing in a Solheim Cup for the first time?

SARAH SCHMELZEL: Definitely. To be out here with these crowds, especially these last few holes kind of rooting us on, encouraging us to get this point, it's exceeded so many expectations.

The girls, the captains, everyone is amazing. And then playing in an atmosphere like this, you can't ask for anything better than to represent your country like this. ^
