Q. Fantastic round today considering the tricky conditions. Bogey-free, as well. How would you assess your day?

BROOKS KOEPKA: It was a bit of an odd day. I think the first seven, eight holes I hit it absolutely terrible. I know what it feels like to be Cameron Smith. I think I made every putt I looked at, so it was nice to be like him for a day.

Q. Speaking of putting, it's an area of your game you've openly struggled with. What's changed in the last two events?

BROOKS KOEPKA: We've just gone back to basics, not be so mechanical. Really focused on speed. I feel like they were lipping out low side, so being a little bit more aggressive and getting the putts to the hole and trusting where are I point it it's going to go.

Q. You are currently third in the individual standings. You've moved way up there. Did you have your eyes on third place like you did last year?

BROOKS KOEPKA: No. I mean, I knew I had to play good, basically win this week. But just keep going out and doing what I'm doing. I'm playing solid, so we'll see where it puts me.
