Quick Quotes
Q. Here with Jeeno after her final round at the FM Championship. Just talk about this week as a whole and what the golf has been like for you.
JEENO THITIKUL: Well, it's still been pretty tough for me out there, even though I finished like top 5 or something like that. I found it pretty tough. But I saw a lot of players, they did a good job today out there, like 7- or 8-under or like 9-under. I don't know how they can do it. But I take what I've done for this week.
Q. Still a bogey-free round today. Just talk about the rain and some of the changes today, how you kept yourself steady.
JEENO THITIKUL: Yeah, it's kind of a little frustrating with stopping with the rain. I think the momentum was going, and then I think right before the finish, I hit a really good shot, like two holes really good ball-striking before it kind of finished.
It's kind of frustrating a little bit but not much. It's just, like, two holes to go, and then being in contention -- yeah, just a little hard to get back, as well, but I'll still take it.
Q. What can you say about your first experience playing at TPC Boston?
JEENO THITIKUL: Well, to be honest, I didn't have a really good start. I didn't get my luggage. I didn't get my golf clubs.
Then Ruoning, I text her, and I was just like -- she said, she send photos with like mala (phonetic) kind of thing, and in my long day, I text her, like, yo, lucky you, I had a rough day, but lucky you, you've been eating like hai de lao (phonetic) or whatever and I tell her all the story and then she's just like, you know what, it's happened on her, as well, and then she finishing T4. I think I'm finishing T4 right now, so I might have to text her back, like yo, actually thank you so much for cheering me up and then kind of good messages in my long, long and rough day.
Q. I see you looking up at the leaderboard while we're watching and watching them wrap up. Were you aware of where you were today on the leaderboard?
JEENO THITIKUL: To be honest, I didn't see the leaderboard at all until the last hole. I mean, last hole I think maybe I need to hole the eagle to have a chance, and then I think my caddie just told me what the position is, kind of like that, because if we had 210, we might go for it because we don't have anyone chasing us from behind. So yeah, I just knew after that.
I think I did a really good job today mentally-wise to play out there. Very proud of myself for that and how I performed out there, as well.
Q. You have a two-week break here; any plans on what you're going to do?
JEENO THITIKUL: I'm going back to Dallas. I will take a week off from golf for sure. No, shopping, eating, whatever it is. But yes, a week off coming.
