Q. How pleased are you to get that done so early?

PATIENCE RHODES: I mean, I was really happy. I was holing lots of putts, making birdies, which is what you want to do, fairways, greens, and I just felt pretty relaxed in my swing. So I could just swing freely and kind of get it near the hole and put some pressure on.

Q. You must relish the stage given the pressure out there.

PATIENCE RHODES: No, it was fun having the crowds out and cheering me on. I've got all my family here, and my caddie was amazing. He's getting all the numbers perfectly and really helping me on the greens, and he's a great chap, as well.

Q. Amazing to put a point on the board for your own record this week, just for personal satisfaction, as well?

PATIENCE RHODES: Yeah, yeah, it was a nice opportunity. I was coming out here trying to get my point, and I'm really happy that I did.

Q. How difficult is it to keep an eye on the scoreboards?

PATIENCE RHODES: I honestly have no idea. I didn't see any of the scoreboards. I didn't usually look at the scores. I'm probably just about to go check now, but hopefully we're doing great.
