Q. Here with Patience Rhodes. Patience, how does it feel to have won the Curtis Cup?

PATIENCE RHODES: Oh, my God, it's amazing. Coming down that 18th fairway with Mimi, I was really stressed out. Obviously it's my sister. But I knew she holed that massive 15-footer on 17 and everyone just went wild, and it was just unbelievable. It's the best result we could have hoped for.

Q. How special is it to share this experience with your sister Mimi?

PATIENCE RHODES: It's amazing. She's turning pro tomorrow, so I said to her today, I was like, how happy are you we've just won the Curtis Cup together? But yeah, I'm over the moon.

Q. I saw all your family out there with "Team Rhodes" shirts on. Must have been pretty cool to have them watching from the sidelines?

PATIENCE RHODES: Yeah, we had uncles, aunties. Basically everyone was out cheering us on. We were just trying to be louder than the Americans really, and they were, so they did great.

Q. You came into today sort of pointless and you went out and played amazingly. What was sort of your mindset heading into the final day today?

PATIENCE RHODES: I was trying to be a bit more relaxed. I was a bit stressed. I did want to get that point. But I played amazing. On the range I was feeling my swing, holing some putts on the practice green and had a great caddie on the bag, Miles, who was amazing. Got the numbers perfectly. We just had a great day together and it was fun. More than anything, no stress, and yeah, just managed to hole some putts, and was about 4-under, I think. So yeah.

Q. The Curtis Cup is very different compared to what you usually play in amateur golf. What are your learnings from this week?

PATIENCE RHODES: Well, firstly, I love the team aspect of it. Match play is just amazing in golf. Everyone is just supporting each other out there.

But yeah, usually it's just straight play and you've got to kind of play it safe. Today I was going for everything. I was like, we need to make some birdies to get the win under our belt, so yeah.
