Lauren Coughlin

Boston, Massachusetts, USA

TPC Boston

Quick Quotes

Q. I got to ask you right off the bat, with Haeran and Bianca both taking a big tumble in the first four, five holes, what did that do to your mindset? Almost like a reset button, wasn't it?

LAUREN COUGHLIN: Yeah, definitely unexpected, but I mean, I don't feel like it changed too much. Still trying to go play my game, stay in my bubble, do what I could do, hit good shots, and try to make some putts.

Q. Your bubble seems like a fun place to hang out. You worked so hard to create this game that's so consistent. What is golf like for you right now?

LAUREN COUGHLIN: Yeah, I mean, it's really fun. You know, I just feel like I'm going and enjoying myself, and if I can do that, then generally I'm going to play pretty well.

Q. This golf course has multiple personalities. You feel like you can take it on at times and other times it bites you. What's the process for tomorrow?

LAUREN COUGHLIN: Yeah, you just described it really well. Just take what it gives me. If I can make a few, but also don't try to force anything when it's not there. I think if I can do that, see how it ends up.
