Quick Quotes

Q. Well done on a hard-fought half. How are you feeling, Sara, after that one?

SARA BYRNE: Pretty good. Honestly, a half point is a half point. Every half point is crucial out here.

It was kind of up and down all day. I think the first time we got up was 12 or 13 or something like that. Yeah, we kind of just wanted to keep the foot down. Obviously Lottie had an absolute raker on 16 and Meg had an absolute raker on 17. It was just that kind of day.

Q. GB&I hold a two-point lead going into the final day for the first time since 2016, I believe. How does that sit with you, Lottie?

LOTTIE WOAD: Yeah, we'll definitely take that. Obviously being ahead is great, just trying to use that momentum going into tomorrow, but obviously there's a lot of points up for grabs. But anything can happen. You've just got to try and focus on your match.

Q. What's it been like playing golf out there in front of all your home fans?

SARA BYRNE: Oh, my God, it's been amazing. This has honestly been one of the most best weeks of my life. It was insane, coming up 18 hearing the GB&I chants going head-to-head with the USA chants. That's something that's so special that not everyone gets to experience. Definitely a very funny moment that I'm going to cherish forever.
