Quick Quotes
Q. Catherine, Zoe, fantastic to get the win this morning. How good does that feel?
ZOE CAMPOS: It feels really good. Yesterday we both halved the first match and then we lost the four-ball, so it feels good.
Q. What were the keys to that success do you think?
CATHERINE PARK: More trust. We know each other's game very well because we've been friends for a while. We've seen each other's games for a while since UCLA and USC, so it's more like positioning her where I know she'll be comfortable and her positioning me where I'll be comfortable.
Q. Some big putts seemed to go in, Zoe; any particular holes you thought were key to the outcome?
ZOE CAMPOS: I mean, 8 and 14 were big since they made their birdie on 8 first and they were pretty close on 14. But yeah, the putter was rolling good today.
Q. Tougher conditions; did you have to adapt to that, particularly with the wind?
CATHERINE PARK: I would say a little bit based on some tee shots. The tee boxes were moved up so we had to adjust to that, but the wind position is something that we expected and we were prepared for, so we just practiced well.
Q. With the score last night, did you feel as though it was important to come out, get the point on the board given how tight the match is?
ZOE CAMPOS: Yeah, definitely. Any point on the board is important. Just trying to do our job for the team, and glad we came out with one.
Q. Overall how much are you enjoying it? Another great day with crowds out here.
CATHERINE PARK: It's nice, all the supporters out here supporting GB&I and USA. It's really nice. I got to see a couple dogs out there today, too, and get some pets in.
ZOE CAMPOS: His name was Dave.
CATHERINE PARK: Yeah, he was a golden retriever. He was really nice, on that par-5.
