BRYSON DAILY: I think the offense played well, executed. A lot of guys made plays. That was really good to see. Kind of got to spread the ball around. So that was awesome. Very excited for the future of this offense and as we go into the next game.
Q. Kanye, you had a big night, 75 yards and two touchdowns. You really complemented Bryson.
KANYE UDOH: Yeah, it was just fun to go out there and play. We did a lot of good things on offense, but still some things we need to fix going into the forward weeks, but we'll get back to it and we'll fix it.
Q. Bryson, there were a couple of changes on the offensive line in the second half. Did that help?
BRYSON DAILY: We have a couple different lines we like to rotate, like whole group, just because we have a really deep O-line group. So that's been awesome for us. It's going to be really good for us going forward just having that depth and being able to move in some fresh guys like Jordyn Law at tackle, getting to put him in, and giving other guys a rest and kind of rotating that. It's going to be really good for us.
Q. Bryson, different plays (indiscernible)?
BRYSON DAILY: Yes, sir, so I ran a lot of these concepts the first three years I was at the school and a lot of guys did, as well. We have guys who are just ball players out there, out wide, Noah Short, all those other slots, they're just comfortable with the ball in their hands, and they did a great job today.
Q. What did you see from Lehigh?
KANYE UDOH: No, I didn't really try anything different or do anything different when I was playing. I just went out there, trusted the offensive line's blocks and did what I had to do.
Q. Any of your teammates stand out for the job they did?
KANYE UDOH: I would shout out the whole offensive line but especially Brady, Bill and PG. They had some really good blocks today.
Q. Talk a little bit about his flexibility (indiscernible).
BRYSON DAILY: Yeah, he's an explosive guy. You saw that today with that long run. He can be a true receiver, very good, running routes, when the ball is in the air, and this was his first time at slot. It was like he's been doing it for years. He's a very talented player, very explosive, and he's going to make this offense a whole lot better.
Q. (Indiscernible.)
KANYE UDOH: Yeah, me and Bryson were just talking about it. It's a good first win, good first game to go out there and get that game feeling and get the first game under our belts, get the first win, get our confidence up moving forward.
Q. (Indiscernible.)
BRYSON DAILY: I actually liked the corps being in the end zone. That was pretty cool. Other than that, I didn't notice a whole lot while I play. But yeah, I thought it was pretty good, considering the circumstances.
Q. (Indiscernible).
KANYE UDOH: Yeah, Coach Monken actually yelled at me for stretching the ball over the pylon. But it was a good play. As I said earlier, Brady had a really good block on that play, came right off his block, he picked up the backer, broke a tackle on a safety and I just made a play and was able to get in the end zone.
Q. (Indiscernible).
KANYE UDOH: Yeah, you have to bring me down. I'm not going to go down.
Q. Kanye, with so many people touching the ball tonight and so many guys (indiscernible) Hayden Noah, Jake (indiscernible) pressure on you?
KANYE UDOH: Yeah, they did a good job keeping me fresh today. I felt fresh on all my runs and all my carries. It was fun also to watch my teammates get in there and get the ball in their hands.
Q. Bryson, really good game from start to finish, obviously. It must have felt good to get back in there. If there's anything you think you can work on between now and week 2, anything you can think of immediately that comes to mind to get better for next week?
BRYSON DAILY: Yeah, there's always plays I wish I could have back, a couple runs I wish I'd have fit a little better, maybe a few more yards, a couple more tackles.
Then obviously missing Noah on that would have been a touchdown pass, stuff like that, there's always stuff to fix, and we'll go back and look at the film and see what needs to be done.
Q. Bryson, what is the significance of this win and the nature of how you won it?
BRYSON DAILY: It's great. It's great confidence for the team. Just starting 1-0, that's our deal every week. Just be 1-0, 1-0. We were able to do that this week, and it moves us in the right direction towards every goal that we set out for this team.
Q. What struck me is how many offensive weapons you folks have this year.
BRYSON DAILY: Yes, sir, a lot of guys making plays today and a lot of guys who have never ran this offense, and like I said, it looked like they've been running it for years. That just comes from the coaching staff being able to teach them up, and all the guys' hard work in the summer and the off-season, just getting ready for their moment, and they were ready today.
Q. Bryson, I know that you're a runner, but do you take any advice from the guy next to you?
BRYSON DAILY: Yeah, I wish I could take a lot of things from Kanye, his speed, how strong he is. I'm just trying my best out there, but I need to go watch some Kanye Udoh tape and maybe I'll be a little better.
