Quick Quotes
Q. All right, here with Yealimi Noh after her second round here at the FM Championship. Following 69 yesterday with a 68 today. What was a little different between the two rounds?
YEALIMI NOH: I hit it really well today. I missed just one green on 17, so it was nice and stress-free just hitting all the greens and most of the fairways and just having birdie opportunities.
Q. I also see you went bogey-free today; yesterday seemed hard to do. Did it seem to play easier or how did you keep the bogeys off the card?
YEALIMI NOH: Definitely just hitting all the greens except one helped. Just being in the fairway. I mean, like I said yesterday, the course is really firming up so my drives are going a little further and I'm having shorter irons into the holes.
That helps.
Q. With drier conditions means the greens dry out a little bit. Was that a challenge today at all?
YEALIMI NOH: I think I would say it's more of an advantage for me because I have a really spinny ball so I'm able to hold the greens pretty well. So I think that has helped me today.
Q. Two rounds in the 60s. Great way to start. What's the mindset heading into the weekend?
YEALIMI NOH: Same as today. It was really nice hitting a lot of fairways and greens up just hope to keep that tempo and feel tomorrow and the next day.
Q. Being in contention certainly is a different feeling for everybody. How does it feel or what's different in your mindset knowing you're at the top of the leaderboard?
YEALIMI NOH: It's nice to just be at the top, but just try to keep everything the same and same feel, same thoughts, same swing thoughts and focusing on myself and not caring too much about what everyone else is doing, yeah.
Q. We were talking about Haeran, seeing a 9-under round.
YEALIMI NOH: Yeah, yeah.
Q. Do you see that out there?
YEALIMI NOH: I mean, if you're making everything and hitting had close, possibly. But I think she's just playing really, really great. It's awesome to see. The course is tough, but good for her.
