Q. Tough finish, I know, but would you have taken that given the start you had?

LOTTIE WOAD: Yeah, probably. 3-down through 9, I think, and had a good run after that. A bit disappointed at the end, but they made a good birdie on 17 to keep it going. It's probably, in the end, a fair result.

Q. Typical match play golf, was it?

SARA BYRNE: Yeah, very typical, very up-and-down all the time, but it was nice we got on a good run. That kind of settled us into the whole week, as well.

Q. You had a heck of a run in particular. I thought you were 10, 11, really kind of driving it. Was that some of the best golf you can play?

LOTTIE WOAD: Yeah, we holed some nice putts on those holes that definitely kept momentum going. It's weird in foursomes, you kind of don't have a few shots for a while, so I hadn't really had a putt for a long time and then suddenly had those in a row, so just kind of got into the groove a little bit.

Q. Almost an ace on 15.

LOTTIE WOAD: Yeah, I'm still waiting on my first hole-in-one, so it would have been nice if that one went in, but we'll definitely take it from 210.

Q. What was the crowd support like? There was huge numbers out there following you.

LOTTIE WOAD: Yeah, there was loads and loads, especially the Irish plane got in.

SARA BYRNE: Yeah, this morning my club had arrived on a 7:00 a.m. flight this morning, so I think once they caught us on 10, we really had the momentum shift there, as well. It's absolutely amazing to see this many people out here, and they're all right behind us and cheering us on, so it's definitely helped the momentum swing.

Q. And the weather, as well, perfect for golf?

SARA BYRNE: Yeah, it's beautiful. We're in a beautiful spot on a beautiful golf course and perfect weather. Just enjoying it.

Q. Half point, still right in it. It was a close morning and probably shows how close the teams could actually be throughout the whole week?

LOTTIE WOAD: Yeah, definitely. The group ahead of us had a good half, which helps, and definitely right in it. Trying to use that momentum going into the four-ball.
