Q. 67 here on day two at The Belfry, you must be pretty pleased with that effort?
TOM VALLIANT: Yeah, it's always nice shooting under par on this course, and shooting in the 60s is even better. It just feels incredible when you are rewarded on good shots on this kind of course where it's really hard. Just enjoying.
Q. What's the key to playing well around here?
TOM VALLIANT: I mean, I'm just trying to hit as much green as I can because the rough are very thick around the greens, so it's not easy to make up-and-downs. Obviously just hitting a nice amount of green and that's it.
Q. How nice to play in front of those crowds out there. It's pretty busy for a Friday?
TOM VALLIANT: It's crazy. We all know that it's the country of golf, with all the Britains, but especially on this kind of course where there is a lot of history. So being able to put my foot on where Ballesteros won, that's amazing, and a crowd that knows that is a good shot and a bad shot, so it's amazing.
Q. You're in the mix with 36 holes to play. What do you do over the weekend any differently?
TOM VALLIANT: If I'm in this position, it means I'm doing things great. Just keep doing my thing and hit a nice amount of greens and that's it.
