Quick Quotes
Q. Tell me about your round today. What clicked? What was working for you?
ROBYN CHOI: I think a little bit of everything. I think hit my drivers well on the fairways. Hit them on the grain and if I missed I made up and downs pretty good.
Had a few lucky shots. Holed out of the bunker for par. I think overall just everything was just, yeah, just average, you know, pretty good.
Nothing was special. Everything just kind of tied in together.
Q. (Plane interference.)
ROBYN CHOI: I think everything was just tying in together. I hit good fairways, hit greens, and when I missed I made up and downs. No bogeys today just kind of kept my game going.
Q. You were saying there was some lucky shots too, or you felt like it.
ROBYN CHOI: Yeah, well, I was in the bunker for my fifth shot. I was hitting my fifth shot out of the bunker on No. 12 I think. That went in for par and that was one of my lucky shots of the day.
Making that par just kept my momentum going.
Q. There was really good shots today.
ROBYN CHOI: There was a few good shots in there. Kind of converted them into birdies. That was good. Saved par when I had to. I think the big thing was just the momentum continuing on throughout the whole 18 holes.
Q. Where you are now in the season in the rankings, how you came into the week, is this way more than expected or is this a good start?
ROBYN CHOI: I think it's a good start. I mean, I wasn't really expecting anything. Just wanted to play solid golf and just I think that was the main goal for this season. Didn't really happen that well.
You know, I think just trying to play the way I was playing. I think it'll be fine.
