Quick Quotes
Q. Good finish there. Looks like you kind of got the most out of that round, considering the way it started. Did you have to recalibrate after the first three or four holes?
ADAM SCOTT: Yeah, I kind of felt like I made a meal of that, and I didn't feel like I did that much wrong. A couple of drives were just not quite right, and a three-putt, and all of a sudden I'm kind of chasing.
I really struggled mostly on the greens today. They were just so different from yesterday's round speed-wise and firmness and look and everything. Felt like I was on a different course almost, and I just battled that most of the round.
The good shots I hit, I didn't really get the reward. I'm in a good spot in the end of it to be one back.
Q. After all that, you're still in the last group. You're right there. Maybe you got the bad one out of the way?
ADAM SCOTT: Look, I love my position. I feel like, again, a bit like yesterday, I'm playing on house money, and I'm right in this golf tournament. I don't know how many times, too, this year I reckon I've been in contention going into Sunday, so I'm excited for tomorrow.
Q. Your full-time residence is listed as Crans in Switzerland. Do you feel especially comfortable in a mountainous kind of setting?
ADAM SCOTT: Just used to always catching my breath. I don't practice to altitude, so I don't really think it's helped me this week.
Today was challenging out there. I don't think there was low scores, really. I don't know what the low score was. But the wind at altitude showed how tricky it gets. A couple I was way off on.
I'm going to have to try not to make those mistakes tomorrow.
Q. Will you go to the range and try to iron anything out now?
ADAM SCOTT: I'm happy with the swing. I think I should go to the putting green, to be perfectly honest, and just get comfortable with the way the greens are rolling at the moment.
Q. I don't know how much you've played with Ludvig, but what have you seen from him in basically a year as a pro?
ADAM SCOTT: I've played with him twice or three times, I think. It's pretty impressive. Every area looks pretty good. I know he's been a bit quiet the last couple months maybe, but now we're getting critical of a guy who's been on TOUR for a year and he's 6 in the world or something, is he?
It looks awesome, and I like his demeanor a lot. I think he's really calm and seems to have everything under control from the outside anyway.
Q. Does he remind you of you at all at that age, early on, when you were getting a lot of hype, also?
ADAM SCOTT: A better version.
Q. You couldn't remember the last time you shot 63. Can you remember the last time you opened the round hitting OB?
ADAM SCOTT: No.
Q. It's been a while?
ADAM SCOTT: It's been a while, yeah. Yeah, didn't even feel like that bad a shot, to be honest. Just got on the wind and was gone.
