Q. How excited to be part of the Solheim Cup?
ESTHER HENSELEIT: I am excited, just I don't know how many years to be part of the Solheim Cup team. And yeah I'm really excited for it.
Q. (Inaudible).
ESTHER HENSELEIT: Yeah, definitely. It's been a fun summer. I've been playing well all year but I feel like now the scores are coming together. Yeah, it's fun at the moment and I'm just trying to enjoy it.
Q. Have you spoken with other players --
ESTHER HENSELEIT: I haven't seen her yet. I think she's here somewhere. I've been chatting to her a little bit over the last few weeks and she said, "Well done," yesterday.
Q. (On conditions today.)
ESTHER HENSELEIT: Yeah, it was definitely a lot easier. There is hardly any wind and front nine almost played downwind so definitely played shorter. Hit little wedges in. Managed to take advantage of that and when the wind picked up a little bit, I steered -- playing solid golf.
Q. What was that first day like --
ESTHER HENSELEIT: First was just brutal -- it was so hard on the course. I knew yesterday I had to score -- to probably scoot under par to be here today. I played well. Had some good chances and yeah, I managed to keep it together in the wind.
Q. Last week --
ESTHER HENSELEIT: I mean, not really. I feel like when you say that golf is going to show you, but you don't -- yeah, just try to stay patient on the links golf. Of course this week is harder in the wind than last week because it's just so much firmer and the greens are crazy.
Yeah, this is definitely harder than last week but I feel like it was definitely good practise coming into this week.
Q. Friends and family --
ESTHER HENSELEIT: It was amazing. It was my first time playing the Old Course and there's just so much history here. Every time I'm looking down 18, I'm just looking around and enjoying it. Yeah, it's amazing to be here.
