GEMMA DRYBURGH: I'm okay. Just a bit blown away. It was hard. My ball was blowing off the tee. It was blowing on the fairway. It was -- yeah, it was tough.
Yes, absolutely. We were on 11 our second hole, our balls were moving. My ball moved twice before I putted. Don't know how it was playable to be honest. Especially those holes like 7 and 11 right out there. Yeah.
Q. On a day like this --
GEMMA DRYBURGH: Probably just do some putting. I missed a few short ones out there. Could have saved a few shots there. But overall pretty happy with how I hit it considering the conditions.
I feel like Troon a few years ago was really hard and we also had rain that day, as well. But I don't know, that might have been stronger.
Q. The first hole --
GEMMA DRYBURGH: I hit a 6-iron, I believe. 6-iron, which yeah, it was only 130 to the pin but I was hitting 6-iron. Usually it's a pretty straightforward hole.
It's just really tiring. It's exhausting to be honest. Ready for a nap might be lighter tomorrow.
Q. But the size of the tournament, the challenge of the golf course?
GEMMA DRYBURGH: I think it's difficult for anyone out there even if you played in the wind. If you get on the wrong side of the hole, it exacerbates the miss. Because even on like 8, we all hit good shots but just as soon as you get the wrong side of the pin, it's off. Doesn't stop.
Q. What did you think of Ruoning Yin's round?
GEMMA DRYBURGH: Amazing round. Hard to get close to the pin and putting is not easy either because you're dealing with the wind, and you have to take that into account. Very impressive round.
Q. She said she played on video games.
GEMMA DRYBURGH: She's just like that. She's amazing, yeah, she's always got a good attitude. Got a good attitude for this weather.
I haven't seen the scores yet but there are many bigger scores in there, too.
Q. Where does this rank in terms of rounds you've played?
GEMMA DRYBURGH: Difficulty? It's got to be top five, and I've had some difficult ones. Yeah, there's no rain obviously so that made it a little bit more, I guess, bearable but yeah, it's definitely up there.
Q. What's been your impression of the locker room?
GEMMA DRYBURGH: Locker room is amazing. Probably the nicest locker room we've had ever. I think so. Just such high-end, quality finishings. Just makes you really, like, comfortable when you go in there.
Q. What's the best part about it, a detail that stands out?
GEMMA DRYBURGH: I'd say the lockers themselves, actually, are pretty cool. They are electrical. You get a little card and it just opens. That's pretty cool. They smell quite nice. Usually we get old lockers that smell like old feet and stuff.
Q. What's it smell like?
GEMMA DRYBURGH: Nice smells. Fresh.
Q. Like wood?
GEMMA DRYBURGH: Yeah. It was very nice.
