Q. How would you assess the round today?

RUSSELL HENLEY: Hit it great. Had a lot of putts just barely miss. I hit a lot of really good putts, like 18, 16, a lot of putts that hit right where I was looking and just misread them barely.

Playing great, hit it great. Hopefully I can just make a few more of those.

Q. Obviously you grew up down in the south, but when you play in this heat, how taxing is this heat when you guys are playing out there?

RUSSELL HENLEY: Yeah, I can't keep my hands dry is my biggest issue. But I just try to eat a lot, drink basically a bottle of water a hole, and you kind of are mentally ready it for it when it come to Memphis, so you just kind of know it's coming.

Q. When you look back at the season so far, how would you assess how you've played this year and what you have still ahead these three weeks?

RUSSELL HENLEY: Yeah, I've played well. I've had a lot of really good tournaments in big events, contended at The Open pretty well, and just feel like I'm doing a lot of good things. Playing with a lot of belief in what I'm doing.

I'm very thankful for where I am. It's such a hard game, and I'm just thankful to be playing well.
