Q. I think you're just outside the top 24 right now. Obviously you finished inside both years. How much do you think that will -- how much have you been thinking about that and how much does last week, is it like, right, I'm confident?
PETER UIHLEIN: I have next year, anyway. Obviously playing well last week helps. I felt like since my Sunday in Spain was really good, and JCB was fine. Other than my second, it was my best week of the year. And then winning last week.
Just the stuff we were kind of trying to do going into JCB was nice, and it's just kind of just keep trying to do the same thing, which is nice. Not trying to do anything crazy.
My coach and I, Jason, we probably did the wrong thing halfway through the year kind of trying to change some stuff, and then we kind of had a heart to heart about it after Spain.
So we are kind of just doing some of the stuff we think is right now. So it's been working, which is nice. You see quick results at JCB which is good and then last week. I feel really good going into these last couple weeks for sure.
Q. What would be an example of something that you guys tried and didn't work?
PETER UIHLEIN: Just a different release pattern for me, which is something I had always kind of done my whole life. We tried something different. Just didn't really work.
Q. Why did you try it? You had a pretty nice finish early.
PETER UIHLEIN: We were thinking maybe that would just help build consistency with it and it just didn't really take. Let's just say that. What you do on the range is obviously different than under pressure and under a tournament.
So it just didn't really take. But the stuff I'm doing now feels like it's working quite well, especially under pressure last week, was nice.
Q. Do you feel like you're back to kind of what we expect and what we've seen the first two years out here?
PETER UIHLEIN: Feels like it. Feels like it's getting there. Yeah, I mean, there's ebbs and flows in golf, right. That's just kind of the way it is.
Q. And then one last thing, getting back in the winner's circle, is it a relief? Was it elation? What was going through your mind?
PETER UIHLEIN: It was just nice. I had a lot of seconds, runner-ups, even after I won the last one on Korn and had a couple seconds after that, and obviously four seconds on LIV. You know, you like to win, right. So obviously it was nice to kind of get over the hump and do it resoundingly, which is always nice.
Q. You didn't get a chance to really celebrate, did you?
PETER UIHLEIN: No. 18 holes today with Matt. That was my celebration.
Q. When did you leave? How quickly did you leave?
PETER UIHLEIN: Next morning. Just got ready to get to the airport and came here.
