Q. You're through to a first Masters semifinal of the year, top-5 win. What does it mean to you? Also, what got you through today?

SEBASTIAN KORDA: Yeah, it means a lot. It's been a tough year for the U.S. hard court swing. So just put in a lot of work.

I'm so happy with the results right now. Just really enjoying my time on court and having fun and trying to play aggressive and do my thing and hope for the best.

Q. You had a bit of a slow start today. Does it surprise you in a way because other than the two sets against Taylor, you hadn't really played any tennis coming in? How tough was that having done so well in Washington and then not having had much tennis?

SEBASTIAN KORDA: Yeah, I've barely seen the tennis court here honestly. A lot of rain. Luckily we hit indoors one day, but that's about it. We should play more matches, and I'm feeling good. I'm feeling healthy and just really happy to be on the court. It's been nice.

Q. You mentioned you're playing well. How much does it feel like you're playing in the form of your life going into the semifinal tomorrow or later tonight?

SEBASTIAN KORDA: Yeah, I had a good preparation for the U.S. hard court swing. I feel physically I'm doing well and I'm healthy.

That's probably the main thing for me is really staying healthy and just really having fun on court. When I'm doing that, I feel like I can play some pretty good tennis.
