Quick Quotes
Q. All right, here with Andrea Lee after the second round of the Portland Classic. Just talk about the great golf you've been playing the last couple days, especially today, shooting seriously low numbers.
ANDREA LEE: Yeah, I mean, I played really great today; super solid. Just played really steady golf out there and made a lot of putts. It was nice to see some of them drop.
I feel like I've been struggling a little bit in the last month, but it's nice to see my game finally kind of come together after some hard work.
Q. I believe you had six consecutive birdies today at one point. You also did the same thing last week, too. What is it with these birdie streaks you keep having?
ANDREA LEE: I have no idea. Yeah, I felt like déjà vu a little bit today after last week. Obviously really good feeling. It means my game is in the right place.
Yeah, I wasn't even really thinking about the birdie streak to be honest. I was so focused. Then I think I chipped it in on 16 and that was my sixth birdie in a row and I was like, my gosh.
So it was a pretty cool run.
Q. Past champion of this event. Talk about your comfortability here and how nice it us to be back.
ANDREA LEE: Yeah, I love Portland, Columbia Edgewater, it's always great to come back here. I always find the course conditions to be perfect. It's a great golf course. Obviously a lot of the low scores out here, but I feel really comfortable out here.
I don't know, just kind of feels like my home course away from home almost. So, yeah, I'm just having a lot of the fun.
Q. Do you have some of those memories coming back while you're playing?
ANDREA LEE: A little bit. You know, every year is going to be different, so I try not to think about what I've done in the past. Obviously would be nice to have the same result this week, but I'm going to try and not think about that and just keep playing steady golf.
