Q. Here after the first round of the Portland Classic. Just talk about how you played out there today. 8-under round, really awesome to start the day off.

HYO JOON JANG: I had a lot of super save on the front nine, which that helps me a lot to get 8-under. I had bunch of 10-feet par putt that I made in the front nine, so I think that was huge part of today.

Q. And I was just talking with your caddie today. Had a great round last year. Talk about what you like about this course.

HYO JOON JANG: Definitely I have really good memories from last year because I had a course record and that brought me a good confidence I guess.

I really like this course. It's looking great. It's good conditions. So I'm feeling great.

Q. And talk about being the first group out in the morning, too, what kind of opportunities you had with that tee time.

HYO JOON JANG: Definitely it was less hot so that helped. Also was less firm. Soon as you get hot and hot it gets firmer out there, so that helps, too.

Q. And then what are you hoping to kind of do tomorrow after this great round, this great start?

HYO JOON JANG: I just need good food right now. I'm going to go rest and going to take a nap and probably good hydration for tomorrow, and that'll be it.
