Quick Quotes
Q. What's the buildup been like for you practicing and being in Paris? Have you managed to, were you involved in that ceremony?
ADRIEN DUMONT DE CHASSART: I wasn't. I got here on Monday, early afternoon. I haven't been doing much besides playing the course and practicing a little bit. So I wish I can go out in Paris a little bit and go see some of the events at some point. But right now, it's only been good golf.
Q. If you could go, what would you go and see?
ADRIEN DUMONT DE CHASSART: Track and field. Growing up, I always enjoyed watching the 100m really any other discipline track and field. Maybe tennis, as well. I played a lot of tennis growing up. Maybe something I look forward to.
Q. Are there any Belgian athletes that you know or have kind of followed?
ADRIEN DUMONT DE CHASSART: I don't really know personally any of the people besides one guy actually that used to play golf with me growing up. He was in some competition in Belgium and now he's in swimming, 200, 400, 800.
It's going to be great to see him -- he has a swimming coach but he wasn't involved with swimming early on and then he picked up and now he's in the Olympics and we're the same age. That's pretty cool.
Q. What's been your impression of the golf course?
ADRIEN DUMONT DE CHASSART: Played here two years ago, the World Amateur championship. It's looking a little different. It's looking better, obviously. It's in great shape. To have a course like that for only 60 players this week, it's nice it's going to be in great shape all week as well.
Q. If you were to medal this week, what do you think that would be like when you go back to Belgium?
ADRIEN DUMONT DE CHASSART: It would be really awesome. Belgium being a small country, we don't get many medals. I wouldn't be able to describe it, really. But just to be able to get something for myself and for the whole country is very special.
