Q. How did you find your round today at Royal Troon?
KAZUMA KOBORI: Just like one of the most mentally challenging rounds of golf I've ever played. All in all, not disappointed with plus 2. Could have been better, could have been worse. It is what it is.
Q. With 2-over, obviously that gives you a good chance to make the cut tomorrow. If you do, that will be your first time at a major championship. You must feel good waking up tomorrow and knowing there is that great chance of making it.
KAZUMA KOBORI: Yeah, for sure. It was a different story at the PGA, so feels like the work that I've put in between then and now has paid dividends, which is quite rewarding. I'm looking forward to giving it my best shot tomorrow as well.
Q. As mentioned before, being your second major championship, what are you learning from this one after your debut a few weeks back?
KAZUMA KOBORI: Yeah, a lot, just like everything. I think it's more off-course stuff. Just everything that comes with major championships that you've got to deal with.
Yeah, managing expectations is a huge thing. I know I'm playing good golf, but with that comes expectations. So trying to manage that is what I'm working on right now.
Q. Final question from me. It went dark come the end of your round. Was it quite challenging in terms of your vision, or is this something you've handled before at a golf course?
KAZUMA KOBORI: Yeah, we handle it back home. We cut it pretty close when we play in Australia and New Zealand.
Yeah, it got challenging for sure, but it wasn't as bad as it looked on TV or whatever.
