THE MODERATOR: Can I just ask how it felt out there for you today?

FABIO FOGNINI: I'm happy for sure. When you are winning, you are always happy. I think I deserved this victory for sure. I was two set up, 5-2, 30-Love. Yes, I lost this crazy third set, but I was calm for sure. Today was calm, and I could be again third round here in Wimbledon.

THE MODERATOR: Questions, please.

Q. After that third set, how did you reset yourself mentally to go into that fourth set and get the win under your belt? Of course, Casper has not that great of a record on grass, but you showed some great tennis out there today, and you got the crowd going.

FABIO FOGNINI: I mean, it was I think crazy third set. I was leading really comfortable. As I say, I was feeling good.

He was not serving really well, but from the baseline I was most of the time in control of the points. Yeah, I mean, it's strange to tell something, but I was 5-2, 30-Love, and it started raining a little bit. I saw him going fast. I think he was thinking, believe me.

Actually, I thinking on this, 5-2 he did, but he did it in a great way. I mean, he did winner. I make one other, of course, and he make another winner.

I say to my mind, okay, go fast because it's raining. Maybe 5-2, 30-Love, and stop again, and I didn't want to. Yeah, and after on 5-3, 5-4, I think probably the only game that I play bad, as I say, before is on the 5-4 in the third. It's because my mind was start thinking, yeah, now is the time. I need to close because I have my chances and everything, but after that nothing.

I say I was really calm. Even if I was losing this crazy third set, I was thinking, okay, I'm two sets to one up. I started, again, I think really great on the first one. I had one break point on 2-1, but he played good.

After that I think today I deserve a victory. About him, yes, I really don't care if he liking or not. I mean, I'm 37. I'm not thinking about this kind of thing right now.
