THE MODERATOR: Jannik, good to get that win under your belt today, to get finished. How are you feeling?

JANNIK SINNER: Yeah, I feel happy obviously. It has been a very long day. I'm very happy to start first the match and obviously also to finish straight sets. I'm very happy about that.

I felt much better on court today, so I'm happy about the performance.

Q. Do you look at the matches? Are you going to be watching the match tomorrow to see who you're playing, or do you let your team deal with that?

JANNIK SINNER: I think a little bit of both. I also like to watch the match, to visualize also a little bit. But it's different because they're two lefties play against. It's a little bit different.

The big thing obviously my team makes, then they talk to me about the key things. But for sure I'm going to watch a little bit. It's good for me.

Q. When you're in such an event like this, are you looking to add new aspects, new weapons to your game in the middle of events or do you leave that for the off-season?

JANNIK SINNER: No, for sure we keep working because it's not only about this event, but it's also about the future events. Obviously we do a lot in the practice sessions. If the match goes a little bit easier, I might try it out also in match.

If you don't feel comfortable doing it on the practice sessions, it's impossible to make it then in the match. So we are working on improving. I do a lot of gym also to get physically stronger.

Yeah, we try to build.

Q. You played Matteo the other night. A late-night match. Again today. How difficult is it to wait to come on court?

JANNIK SINNER: Yeah, it's obviously long time to wait. But it's obviously a huge honor and big honor to play on this court.

You wait. The first match was very long with Carlos. Then was a good match from the women's side. I was excited to step on court, no?

Centre Court, you never have to take this court guaranteed. It's obviously a huge pleasure for me to stay there. It was fun.

Q. Did you watch any of Carlos' match?

JANNIK SINNER: I watched a little bit of the match. It was a very good match, high level. He raised the level in the tiebreak and in the fourth, then he played couple of points better in the fifth, then the match is over.

It was a great match, entertaining to watch. I was watching quite a lot.
