B. KREJCIKOVA/J. Bouzas Maneiro
6-0, 4-3 (ret.)
THE MODERATOR: How are you feeling after that match and its conclusion?
BARBORA KREJCIKOVA: I mean, it's obviously very disappointing that Jessica had to retire, that she didn't finish the match. Yeah, I think it was a really interesting, interesting match that we played.
Yeah, I mean, the delays and everything that was happening. But, yeah, I'm happy. I'm happy I'm through and that I'm in the fourth round.
THE MODERATOR: Questions, please.
Q. You've had three really good wins - well, two really tight wins, and then that first set was pretty amazing from you. How close do you think you are to full confidence in your hitting?
BARBORA KREJCIKOVA: Well, yeah, I had two, as you said, very tough first two matches. Today I wouldn't say it was easier, but the score was definitely easier than the matches before, especially in the first set.
I think I'm kind of like playing the same game. I'm fighting for every ball. I think, yes, I'm getting more confident with my game and with the rallies that I'm playing, and I'm happy with that.
Q. You've had a lot of time with injuries over the past year, two years. When you come back from injury, what's the hardest thing to get back? Is it your confidence, or is it just what you can physically do, or something else?
BARBORA KREJCIKOVA: I think it's the match rhythm. I think the match rhythm is the toughest. I feel it takes me just longer or I feel like after the injuries that I had, it just took me more matches to get back and to get used to the match rhythm. I feel for me that's the most difficult part.
Q. Do you feel that the doubles players receive enough support on tour, or do you think there need to be improvements on tour for doubles players?
BARBORA KREJCIKOVA: Can you say it again?
Q. On the doubles tour do you think the players need to get more support, like more prize money, more player support like singles players?
BARBORA KREJCIKOVA: Well, I don't really know how it is with the support for the doubles players regarding this because I know that the singles players, they get more percentage than the doubles, but I don't know how big is the difference.
Q. Just one about your next opponent. It will be Collins or Haddad Maia. Do you have thoughts on either of those as opponents for you?
BARBORA KREJCIKOVA: I practice here with Haddad Maia before the tournament, so it's going to be -- she's a good player, playing lefty, big serve, hitting hard from the baseline. On the other side, Danielle, she's having very good year this year. She's also very, very solid and quality, quality player.
So, I mean, whoever is going to be there, it's going to be a difficult match. I'm looking forward for that.
