U.S. ADAPTIVE OPEN

July 10, 2024

Rose Veldman

Newton, Kansas, USA

Sand Creek Station

Quick Quotes

Q. Rose, this was your debut at the U.S. Adaptive Open. What are some of your takeaways for the week?

ROSE VELDMAN: Some of my takeaways for the week would have to be inspiring finish, as my dad said. We're all inspiring others to get out there. No matter what your disability or what you're struggling within life, you can always come back and inspire others and finish what you started.

Q. You're currently in position to finish as the multiple limb amputee impairment category winner. What does that mean to you?

ROSE VELDMAN: That means everything to me because now I see that I can -- anything I put my mind to I can achieve it. For me to get this win for the multiple limb category winner is incredible because not many people are like me, but, you know, the people who are I can inspire them to get out and do it.
