U.S. ADAPTIVE OPEN

July 8, 2024

Vince Biser

Newton, Kansas, USA

Sand Creek Station

Quick Quotes

Q. Vince, great round out there; 1-over for the day. Can you talk us through what was your approach and strategy that got you to that score?

VINCE BISER: Approach coach is what my dad says is when I play stroke play I'm usually really bad, so my mindset was like in my mind play match play against another person, one of the other guys from the group.

That's how I got through because I'm very good with match play.

Q. You told me that today's round matched your low round in an adaptive championship. What was that other -- when did you have that other low round?

VINCE BISER: It was actually last Saturday in Chicago Adaptive Open.

Q. Do you feel playing in the Chicago Adaptive Open, that set you up for success today?

VINCE BISER: Yeah, set me up well and I had two very good practice rounds and my confidence is way up right now.

Q. This is your second U.S. Adaptive Open; you played in Pinehurst last year and then here at Sand Creek Station.

VINCE BISER: Uh-huh.

Q. How do you feel this course suits your game?

VINCE BISER: I think this course suits my game better than Pinehurst last year because it just looks -- the holes look better to me.

Q. Great. Now what do you feel have to do to carry that performance today through the rest of the week?

VINCE BISER: Go and get something to eat, go home, rest, and come back out and do it all over again tomorrow.
