Quick Quotes
Q. A defeat but do you take the positives from how far you went this week?
ANNA FOSTER: Yeah, television, if someone had told me beginning of the week you made it to the quarterfinals I would have bit their hand off, especially to be kind of the last out girl for a few rounds, like it felt special and having all the surprise port of members and I enjoyed it, and it's meant to be for Louise. She didn't really make a mistake. Yeah, I'm happy enough.
Q. On the back nine, she was fairly ruthless, as you say, didn't make over are, you hoped she slipped up but it didn't happen?
ANNA FOSTER: Yeah, I felt like some shots were going her way where they could have gone either way, and 12 was a big moment. I hit a really good shot in just kind of bounced over the green, and that up-and-down from back there is pretty brutal.
Then on 13, almost making that par putt as well, I could tell it was like kind of tough to get momentum. So I'm still trying to hang in there but it was definitely hard to break in.
Q. Great crowds as you said, did you take the positives of that? Did that help your performance?
ANNA FOSTER: Yeah, it was really fun to have all those people around and they were wanting me to do well. So I tried to enjoy it as much as I could.
Q. You said you were surprised to go it far but I think it shows the quality that you have that you've done it?
ANNA FOSTER: Yeah, I think it's more self-confidence and inner belief than anything else. It's kind of the last like few weeks, I guess, has shown me that I am like a good prayer and I deserve to be where I am. It's kind of a nice for me to be able to look back at the last two weeks and kind of say, well, good job, you did well.
Q. What's next for you?
ANNA FOSTER: European Team Championships in Spain. So that will be really fun with the girls. Looking forward to it.
