THE MODERATOR: All right, here with Miyu Yamashita after her third round at the KPMG Women's PGA Championship. What kind of went into the round today? Very clean scorecard with the three birdies and one bogey. What was working well for you?
MIYU YAMASHITA: I hit good shots today and then good course management, so I could play very well today.
Q. What about this course are you starting to feel very comfortable with? What are you still maybe trying to navigate?
MIYU YAMASHITA: For this course it's pretty narrow, and then I think I'm hitting pretty good shots but around the greens I think I can hit better approach to it.
So I will try to make it better tomorrow.
Q. You look like you putted very well. Is that a strength of your game?
MIYU YAMASHITA: I think short game, I like it so I think my short game is pretty strong.
Q. To be in this position on this kind of stage at a major championship, what's going to be the mindset heading into tomorrow's final round?
MIYU YAMASHITA: The course is pretty tough but I am going to enjoy the course and then play as usual and then do my best tomorrow.
Q. How much has making the Olympics been on your mind this week?
MIYU YAMASHITA: So when I'm on the course I'm not thinking much about Olympics. I just focus on the shot in front of me.
Q. How old were you when you turned professional and have you thought much about trying to play on the LPGA?
MIYU YAMASHITA: I started playing golf when I was five, and then I've been thinking about playing on the LPGA Tour since.
But now I'm just focusing on this tournament and then I just wanted to play my best tomorrow.
Q. How will were you when you turned pro?
MIYU YAMASHITA: When I was 18.
Q. You've won a lot in Japan. Do you have a comfort level when you get in the hunt to win? What would winning a major, how could that change your life?
MIYU YAMASHITA: I'm not thinking about much of winning. I'm just focusing on like each shot.
