TRAVELERS CHAMPIONSHIP

June 21, 2024

Scottie Scheffler

Cromwell, Connecticut, USA

TPC River Highlands

Quick Quotes

Q. How did you manage the rain delay, what did you do?

SCOTTIE SCHEFFLER: Sat in the clubhouse.

Q. With the family?

SCOTTIE SCHEFFLER: Yeah. Meredith and Bennett were there, so we just hung out, changed a diaper, and tried to get him to stop crying, but it was cold in there, so it was a little tough.

Q. How would you assess the day before and after the delay?

SCOTTIE SCHEFFLER: After the delay I came out and hit some really nice shots. It was nice to birdie 18 to finish. Before that I feel like I played a lot of solid golf and did some good things, so overall it was I think a pretty solid day.

Q. Missed only two greens through two days, four fairways in two days, feels like ball striking kind of back where you want it maybe after not as well last week?

SCOTTIE SCHEFFLER: Yeah, definitely better than last week. I felt, like I said yesterday, I found a little stuff in my swing and feel like I'm seeing the breaks a lot better on these greens. Definitely feeling some good momentum from the last two days.

Q. Did you think the longer you waited they waited it out that you would not get back out or you thought they might?

SCOTTIE SCHEFFLER: I mean, you're always holding out hope, just with the amount of daylight we had and there wasn't many groups left on the course, but the course did take a lot of rain so we were fortunate to get back out there.
