Quick Quotes
Q. How do you feel?
TOMI BOWEN: I feel really good. Struggled on the greens a little bit today but managed to win the last four holes and got it done.
Q. Talk to us about the match. How did it play out out there?
TOMI BOWEN: I mean, the first hole we both birdied, chipped in and I held a long putt. Then from there, I missed three short putts I think in the first seven holes, but after that, kind of got myself together again and finished well.
Q. A nice little battle then?
TOMI BOWEN: Very good. He played well. Just a shame didn't quite play great on the last few holes but I managed to play well and get it done.
Q. To win the last four holes but make you feel quite confident going into your match tomorrow?
TOMI BOWEN: Yeah, 100 per cent. I did what I had to do to get it done and I did it.
Q. What was working particularly well for you in your game today?
TOMI BOWEN: I hit the driver well. I seemed to get it in play a lot and then if I hit it in the rough, I seemed to have a better shot than if I was in the fairway. It was just solid. Just go over it the putting green now and hope to do better tomorrow.
Q. Being from the U.K. and playing a lot of links golf, do you think that gives you an advantage?
TOMI BOWEN: Yeah, 100 per cent. You know how to judge the wind and know how it's going to release a little bit more than maybe the boys who are in America or abroad. But yeah, I mean, I feel happy.
Q. What's the game plan for tomorrow and for the rest of the week?
TOMI BOWEN: Just sticking to what I'm doing well. I mean, I'm hitting into the right spots. It's just hitting high approaches close and holing the odd putts. That was the game plan in stroke play and it's going to be the same for the rest of the week hopefully.
