THE MODERATOR: Obviously you were a little bit down in the first set, but how did you overcome that, and what changed in your game?

MARKETA VONDROUSOVA: Yeah, I mean, I think she started to play well from the first point. Yeah, just tried to stay in the set, and I fought back. Then I felt like it just changed quickly.

Yeah, I felt pretty good overall, so I think it was a good match.

THE MODERATOR: Questions, please.

Q. I'm from Poland, so you already know what I'm going to ask. The quarterfinal game, it will be the game against Iga Swiatek, and you met here in 2020. Long time ago it seems like.

MARKETA VONDROUSOVA: Yeah, we played a couple matches on the hard courts. But yeah, obviously, she's feeling great here. She won 6-Love, 6-Love today. So I expect a tough match.

But yeah, now I'm in position. I have nothing to lose. So I'm just going to go and try to enjoy the match and just try to maybe play a good match.
