Q. Defending champion here. Talk us through the life of a defending champion this week.

HANNAH GREEN: I guess this is, yeah, that was my third win on Tour so I was defending tournaments in COVID so it was kind of a bit different atmosphere.

Everyone has coming up to me and said, hey, champ, hey defending champ, which is really nice. I was like, oh, okay, which is really nice. Obviously I don't want to put too much pressure on myself. The scores are not quite what I thought they were.

Felt like I played pretty solid and I'm at 6-under and six back. Yeah, has a really nice ring to it and I'm obviously really comfortable here at Wilshire.

Q. (Regarding Australian players, Los Angeles area.) Do you find that same level of comfort?

HANNAH GREEN: Yeah, definitely. I have a lot of people supporting me at the club. You can hear a few Aussie accents out there, which is really nice.

I don't know. I feel like it demands -- even though it is one of the shorter courses we play, it's really firm and quite tricky. I had a lot of downhill putts today and kind of wasn't as aggressive as I could have been.

Kind of reminds me of the Sand Belt, picking and choosing when you can be aggressive and when you can't be. Yeah, hopefully vibing off that and having a good weekend.

Q. What were some your keys to being successful?

HANNAH GREEN: Yeah, I felt like I had a lot today, so I had some good practice. Hopefully next couple days I don't give myself too many of those. It's just hard to not be too aggressive. Obviously you want to make the putt but also don't want to (indiscernible) five-footer coming back up.

Just got to do some putting here because I felt like I wasn't quite that. It was really nice to hole the putt on 17 because I didn't feel like I holed that much today, but hopefully that's my worst putting of the week.
