Q. Which Masters it this for you?

LUKE LIST: Third.

Q. Play last year?

LUKE LIST: Two years ago.

Q. Seeing the course again, golf-wise, how does it shape up right now?

LUKE LIST: Course is perfect. Yeah, we've had really good weather, so obviously the forecast has Thursday calling for some rain. They know what to do with that. Golf course is amazing, so they can kind of dictate what they do Thursday and from there looks really good for the weekend.

Q. How has this tournament changed for you being an adopted son of Augusta? Might be the only guy in the field sleeping in your own bed this week.

LUKE LIST: I mean, there is a lot of guys that want to win this tournament, and I think that a lot of guys -- especially majors have a lot of distractions. Maybe I have a few extra, maybe I don't. Maybe less pressure, maybe more. I don't know.

Going to try to enjoy myself this week and just be thankful I'm here.

Q. I saw the moment on 18 with your family, taking pictures. How important is it to soak it all in?

LUKE LIST: Yeah, it's early in the week, too. I told my wife Sunday, Monday get some pictures in with the kids. Wednesday is the par-3, so a lot of fun. It's a balance, but I think I that you kind of -- around this week it's silly not to take advantage of having the family here and spending some time with them.

Q. Got anybody player-wise staying with you?

LUKE LIST: No players. My caddie stayed with me the first couple nights and he's moving to another house. Keeping it low-key at our house.

Q. Growing up watch thing tournament any memories stick out for you?

LUKE LIST: Yeah, tons. I think I've seen almost ever replay on YouTube now and the old highlights. Fred Couples was one of my idol growing up, and he's had an amazing career here. So just and watching his career and all the cuts he made over the years.

Then playing in 2005, watching Tiger win was pretty spectacular.

Lots of memories over the years. There was a big gap where I wasn't playing so I watching a lot on Sunday, so there is a lot of deserving champions. Hopefully picking up on some of the coverage I watched to remember some of the stuff in the moment.

Q. Par-3 plans?

LUKE LIST: Playing with Keegan and Camilo Villegas.

Q. Did you play 14 hole with the Eisenhower tree?

LUKE LIST: Gosh, I don't remember. Do you know what year they took it down? So, yeah, 2005 I would've played with it there.

Q. You remember it as a kid?

LUKE LIST: Yeah. Talking about 17. Yeah, I mean, you still have to draw it. They added some pine trees because even the Eisenhower tree you had to draw it.

It still plays the same way, but just looks a little different off the visual.

Q. I think they lengthened it, too.

LUKE LIST: Yeah.

Q. So there is like 20 rookies in the field and the record is 21. What's the advice that you give one of those guys based on your rookie year?

LUKE LIST: Man, my rookie year was as an amateur. So I played with an amateur yesterday. Nice kid from Mexico. You got to stick to your game plan, and, yeah, they all want to compete and make the cut and be low amateur.

The rookies that are professionals you have dreams of winning as well.

I try to heed the same advice to myself: Stick to your game plan. There will be some bad stuff happening out there and you try not to be too aggressive when that happens. Just plod along.

And there is some opportunities out here, but also a lot of the holes that will jump up and get you. For me, just trying to stay in my routine and my game plan I guess.

Q. The rookies, a lot of the new faces on the PGA TOUR.

LUKE LIST: Right.

Q. Do you see the tour as being in a transitional state?

LUKE LIST: Yeah, it's kind of tough because we've all grown up with Tiger and Phil kind of being the front runners more than anybody else with a lot of the contenders.

Now seems like Scottie he has separated himself a little bit. Rory had his time. There is a level of ability for guys from back in the pack, some mid-level guys to win on tour, like myself. I mean, that gives you hope, reason to try to win. I.

Think that golf is deeper than it ever has been as far as the level of guys teeing up this week that could actually win.

Q. Following up on that (indiscernible), Nick Dunlap. I guess what goes into making that transition from being an amateur to a professional?

LUKE LIST: Man, he's really talented. I played with him a few weeks ago. He's got the whole world ahead of him. I think as long as he keeps the right team around him, which he does, and the right mindset, his physical capabilities are very unique in a good way.

So if he can plod along and do the right things and not get too ahead of himself he's going to have a great career.

Q. (Regarding practice rounds/eclipse.)

LUKE LIST: Yeah, they have some cool glasses they had inside. I was talking to my daughter and you can make one out of cereal box, so she'll probably use that over the cool Masters glasses.

I don't know. Hopefully try to get off property by then and try to catch it with the kids.

Q. Wyndham Clark, he's making his Masters debut as a U.S. Open Champion. Are you friends with him?

LUKE LIST: Yeah, another phenomenal talent. That's kind of the future of the game, is the guys that are going to hit it far and be good putters. Wyndham is a great player, really nice guy, and, again, has a great career ahead of him.

Q. How do you think his game stacks up against Augusta?

LUKE LIST: Perfect. Yeah, long and straight and good putter. That's what you got to do out here.
